The Dow Jones Information Fund will prepare more than 100 school college students to perform this summer season in paid out internships in 77 newsrooms close to the region. This represents the most significant class in just about a decade and 1 of the most diverse in the Fund’s background.
Twenty-nine interns will go to the Information Fund’s virtual business enterprise reporting software, led by Paul Glader, a professor and director of the McCandlish Phillips Journalism Institute at The King’s School.
Ten other business enterprise reporting interns will go to a virtual coaching session led by Glader and Garry D. Howard, director of company initiatives at American Town Organization Journals, just before reporting to operate at ACBJ publications in 10 markets around the state.
Howard, a Information Fund board member and an alumnus of the 1981 modifying method, made the DJNF-ACBJ partnership in 2015.
